Profile: Despite being a Maximal, Bowfin is a hired thug: a capable destructor and killer, as amoral and vicious as a Predacon. Mentally sharp and possessing endless spiteful cunning, he manipulates the unstable Shovelhead like a puppet-master. Bowfin bears a grudge against the Maximal Guardians, whom he believes are actively oppressing his people. He seeks to use the terror and turned-in violence of the Maskinonge to undermine the authority of the Maximal Elders and destabilise the Maximal government. He has adopted the alternative form of a creature native to Colony Alexandria in order to pose as a rogue citizen of that highly-esteemed planet.
Abilities: Physically imposing, Bowfin is both strong and fast; easily a match for a Cavalier-class Maximal. In both modes he is equally capable of operating in oceanic and marshy conditions, and is resistant to intense heat and chemical concentrations. His creature-mode's tail-section can be detached and used as a hand-weapon and its dorsal fin can likewise function as a two-handed blade. He possesses keen chemical sensors in his chest-module that allow him to operate in environments where electromagnetic sensitivity and sonic senses are of limited use. His armour is coated with a light-sensitive polychromic substance that allows him limited chameleonic abilities. Bowfin carries a double-barreled depolymerisation blaster that shoots fluid which dissolves chemical bonds.
Weaknesses: Whilst his hull-armour is of the normal ablative kind, the armour on his robot-mode is mostly impact-absorbent, and surprisingly vulnerable to bladed weapons. Not a native sea-goer, Bowfin is clumsy underwater in robot-mode and cannot dive as deep as most Omicron natives.
