Profile: Fresh out of the pod and eager to help, Garpike is filled with the boundless energy of youth. The sense of honour that defines the Cavalier-class has yet to fully manifest in him, but his loyalty to his superiors and his devotion to his duty is fully fledged and flying strongly. Although he is still too naive and wet behind the ears to be left on duty alone, when paired with Scargill the senior's experienced guidance makes him a fine officer. Over-enthusiastic to a fault and likely to miss fine details, Garpike can still be depended upon in any physical confrontation. Off-duty, he is sociable and popular with the younger residents of Colony Omicron. He has a thirst for new experiences, especially thrills such as dangerous sports.

Abilities: Garpike is strong for his size and form; combined with his above-average speed and endurance, he is a tough proposition in combat. His sub-mode can reach a speed of up to 140 knots using a powerful plasma-thruster. In robot-mode, Garpike can use this thruster as a ranged weapon. His forward steering fins can cut through enemy armour; in robot mode, Garpike can detach these fins and use them as short-swords, or combine them into a double-bladed electro-scimitar. He is also equipped with a standard-issue high-calibre energy rifle. Having been created on Omicron, Garpike is at home underwater in either robot or vehicle mode. z

Weaknesses: Garpike is still too young and inexperienced to take on much responsibility, and possesses the great overconfidence of youth. He often irritates Depth Charge to a dangerous point. His plasma thruster is not an effective weapon underwater, as it is designed for maximum thrust, not range.
